The two ladies behind the world's first gin with added collagen, aptly named Collagin, say their limited edition Collagin Rose bottle is the perfect 'multi purpose' present to please any gin lover this Valentine's Day. The beautiful, Chanel inspired gin is not only a deliciously smooth drink, but with the innovative addition of 100mg of pure collagen in each bottle, the beauty aspect has been covered. Lastly, the company has steam distilled their original gin with rose petals, the perfect alternative to your staid bunch of roses.
Co founder of Young in Spirit, Camilla Brown, comments:
"We wanted to make this Valentine's Day a bit easier for the shoppers. Collagin Rose really does tick so many boxes, and even when she's finished, many customers turn the bottle into a candle or fill it with bath salts. She's the gin that keeps on giving! Whether it's for your partner, Galentine's Day or a treat to yourself, we think she'll make a lot of people smile this February."
The Rose edition follows their Original, which launched in 2017, causing a media frenzy worldwide and is now stocked in the UK, Europe and South Africa. Recently, the Oxford based 'Gintrepreneurs' secured two Dragons in the hit TV show Dragons' Den.
Collagin Original gin boasts eleven delicate botanicals in a bewitching concoction of warm, earthy liquorice and floral notes of orris root, balanced by the clean taste of juniper and the gentle tang of fresh oranges. Collagin Pink Rose is perfect for the sweeter palate, with a Turkish Delight-inspired finish.
For the perfect serve, mix yourself a Collagin G&T with Collagin's preferred tonic water partner - Lixir Tonic - a touch of vanilla bitters, and a slice of chilled pink grapefruit. With Collagin Rose, the ladies suggest the 'Rose & Shine' which combines the gin with splash of prosecco and a handful of pistachio nuts.
Collagin Original is available nationwide in John Lewis with an RRP of £35. Both Original and Collagin Rose (£36.99) can also be purchased direct from the website www.collagin.co.uk
